How are you liking your Camry? We might be making some changes to the fleet, and I occasionally find myself looking at used Camrys like yours.

I like it a lot! I have the 2.5 4 cylinder and I get usually about 26-27 mpg on my commute. It’s gone up as I’ve been driving a bit slower. It’s got enough power that I’m not flooring it all the time like my Corolla. It’s much more quiet and comfortable for me at 6’3” and I haven’t had any problems that weren’t due to it sitting for a while before I bought it. That was just some clearance issues caused by rust on one of the rotors. When you push it it’s pretty neutral in my opinion.
It’s mostly a quiet and comfortable way to rack up miles commuting. It’s not that exciting and it’s not a dream car but I knew that going in. It’s the perfect tool for the job of being a cheaper commuter. Mine is worth 8 but I paid $5,000 and it’s cheap to run and will get me to college and work which is about 50 miles per day easily. I can’t ask for much more than that in this price range and I would buy it again if I could go back.
I’ve even grown a little attached to it and it’s sturdy dependability. I also happen to like how it looks and think it’s aging very well. Most people think it’s newer than it is and I get compliments on it.
It’s also fantastic on road trips. It cruises really nice and gets a lot of range out of the 18.5 gallon tank and the 2.5.
The one quirk is if your not careful it kind of lurches forward if you give it a little too much gas from a start but you can learn to be smoother with your foot.
Overall I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable comfortable car with decent fuel economy as a daily driver.

I’m very literal so I probably misinterpreted that, it happens a lot.

I am glad you are enjoying it. I used to drive a 2000 Honda Accord Sedan with the V6 and I loved that car (until the transmission died). I’m currently driving my 2012 Fiat 500, and it gets a little snug with a passenger. Especially with shoulder room. So I’d love a sedan with a bit more seating room. Mileage wise I get about 29 around town but have hit 40+ on flat highways. Usually it’s more like 33 with the hills around here.
I agree that your car has aged well. I like a lot of the cars from about 10 years ago because they weren't so over styled with extra fake vents yet.

I also love you this much!

Exactly! They were more conservative designs which makes them age better in my opinion. I also like that it’s not an overly aggressive or angry looking car.
My mpg does have a lot of freeway so yours might vary but I do enjoy mine. It is a pretty roomy car too. I’m 6’3” so my seat is all the way back and with my aunt in the back I didn’t even have to pull the seat up for her.
It would be much roomier than a 500.
Let me know if you have any questions about it! It’s nice to have someone like and be interested in
my car on here :)

I'm not too worried about the legroom because I'm only 5'6" but I am hoping to find something a bit wider. Like when I have a passenger in the 500, our shoulders are pretty close together. So I want something with more shoulder room.

It’s got pretty good shoulder room for me and I have really wide shoulders.

Good to hear. How is it on long trips? Comfy? What's the longest trip you've taken it on?

Really comfy for me. I haven’t taken it on super long trips yet but I did drive to Indianapolis on it from Southeast Michigan which took about 5 hours each way and had no complaints.

Good to know. I have a lot of friends in NC, so I make that drive (450 miles one way) at least once or twice a year.
